Hi! I'm Roni Äikäs, a full-stack developer and freelancer.
Need a part-time but skilled web developer to help with your project as a contractor? You're in the right place! I can help with pretty much anything related to programming and the web — whether it's building websites, software, integrations, native apps, or full-blown web platforms. Got something cool in mind? Don't hesitate to get in touch — let's see if we're a good match!
I'm comfortable developing backend (Node, Python, PHP) as well frontend (React, SCSS, Tailwind, Flutter, etc.). My strongest areas are JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and WordPress, but I've worked with a wide range of technologies — and I'm always keen to learn more.
Despite being relatively young, I've already been part of building dozens of websites and digital services. I have done work for a wide variety of clients from a WordPress agency to a VC-funded tech startup.

Roni Äikäs, aka Doctor Äikäs. You can bring even the trickiest WordPress problem to this guy, and you can be sure he won't be stumped. Plus, the wait times are reasonable (great developers always have work lined up).
Roni is a highly professional WordPress developer whose services we will continue to use, and on top of that, he's a really nice guy!

Let's make your project a reality!
Whether your project is big or small, I can help! I primarily work remotely and in the evenings as I'm a full time student. If needed, I can also come to your office (Tampere, Helsinki, etc.) for a day depending on my schedule.
I've previously worked on projects with a fixed number of hours (e.g. 60 %) or on a zero-hour contract basis, depending on the client's needs.
Send me an email at roni@mikroni.fi and let's see how I can help!
